and while we are ok for marshals we'll always have more. If any of your friends or tag-alongs have enquired about marshalling and not heard from PMBA, there was a time when the web-form wasn’t working. Please just get them to email pmbaenduroseries@gmail.com to volunteer and be sent the marshal info.
A reminder that the event is split over 2 of the forest area's, the camp/parking at the top of the forest, and the HQ (with sign on, timing, cafe, expo area) all at the bottom. They are not far away, Kev from PMBA on his ebike did it in sub 10 mins from HQ back to camp. 1.34 miles, 9:05min, 428 ft climb. This was just after completing stage checks, and we have to praise Dean Trail Volunteers for the work in preparing the stages for us, everything is looking great!
Parking is FREE at our camp, but you can drive to the HQ if just day tripping but you will be liable for parking fees if you do. Locals with year passes of course valid. If its full, there is also Beechenhurst car park a short pedal/walk away.
The rider briefing is updated with information as we get it. In the last week we've added info on why J11 is a much better M5 exit than the M50 if coming down the M5; the fact that Pizza availability is now 12-7pm rather than just 5-7pm, and last week added a link for the trail building session on Sunday if you fancy that. There are links to other Sunday activities too, coaching and social rides, as well as info on a cheap Sunday uplift.
We have also extended the entry deadline to 9am Friday if you are still trying to twist the arm of friends to join you this weekend. Only 44 places remaining!
Although there is a drinking water tap on the campsite, this is not hose-suitable and we advise you arrive in a camper with its on-board water at sufficient level. The tap is only suitable for filling portable containers
