After losing her Gran to cancer, Rachel picked up an old MTB for the first time since childhood, aged 26. Her motivation was to undertake a hard challenge to raise funds for MacMillan, the charity that had supported her loved Gran during her final months...and in doing so she discovered a new love, a lifelong friend in the bicycle and processed her feelings of grief and loss.
