FAQ’s

I’ve never raced before is this race for me?
100% yes! We pride ourselves on delivering a race on trails that are fun but still challenging in a supportive, relaxed environment. If you can happily ride trail centre red grade routes you can race this enduro!

I have raced before is this this the race for me?
100% yes! Although we say this is the ideal race for someone’s first race, this year we adding stages to the race day with an extra level difficultly, so you can choose between the Lite Enduro or the Full Enduro. Its what makes this race so special, you can have people racing their first ever race alongside  well-seasoned enduro racers and world champs!

What is a Mash up style race?
You get to ride/race the stages in whatever order you like and for as many times as your legs and lungs will allow! Your fastest time on each stage will be taken.

Can you ride the stages before the race?
Yes. They are all stages that form part of the trail centre red loop and DH tracks at Forest of Dean. You can find exactly where they are here in the Rider Brief: https://www.pmbaenduro.co.uk/hope-women-enduro-2026/

If you’d like some coaching on the stages prior to the enduro please get in touch with the likes of Katy Curd, Pro Ride MTB Coaching and Wye MTB.

What’s the minimum age to race?
We have an Under 11 category and riders must be aged 8 and above. All Under 16 riders must be accompanied by a chaperone.

A large flat grassy field with a tap for fresh water, Portaloo’s and skip for your rubbish. And if you like dogs plenty of dogs out on their morning walkies! If you would like showers and maybe the facility to charge an ebike you would be best off finding a local campsite to book onto or find an Air BnB.
